The college’s Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and I’m pleased to share my report with faculty and staff.
In light of our ongoing issues with Blackboard, I’m also sharing the letter I sent to the company on Oct. 18, 2016.
Highlights of another busy month are:
- Troy Mayor Patrick Madden’s visit to Advanced Manufacturing Technology classes
- The Viking Cup Challenge and Homecoming, that included the official opening of the new Outdoor Athletic Complex
- Foundation Gala to benefit the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center as it closes out its 50th anniversary year.
It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the mid point of the Fall 2016 semester, which I hope is going well for all faculty and staff. Your efforts each day on behalf of our students are greatly appreciated.
The next regular Board meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 22, although a special meeting precedes that at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1.
